What is a Commercial Invoice, and why is it important?
A commercial invoice is a special export document that helps your package get through customs. A properly completed and accurate commercial invoice helps customs authorities quickly decide which taxes and import duties to apply to your package, which also prevents delays.
The only case in which a Commercial Invoice is not required when shipping internationally, is when the shipment contains Documents Only, that have no monetary value. For more information on Document Only International Shipments, click here.
On the ShipSimple Platform, we walk you through each step of creating a Commercial Invoice.
Simply fill in the information,
