If you encounter an issue with a shipment, submitting a claim quickly is crucial to ensure a smooth resolution. Below, we’ve detailed the time frames for filing claims with each of our courier partners for both lost and damaged shipments. Please refer to this guide to stay within the required timelines.
Purolator
- Concealed Damage:
- Domestic Shipments: File within 21 days of delivery.
- International Air Shipments: File within 14 days of delivery.
- Evident Damage at Delivery:
- Domestic Shipments: File within 60 days of delivery.
- International Air Shipments: File within 14 days of delivery.
- Lost Shipments:
- Domestic Shipments: File within 9 months of the shipment date.
- International Air Shipments: File within 90 days of the shipment date.
Canada Post
- Domestic Shipments: File claims within 90 calendar days of the shipment date.
- International Shipments: File claims within 6 months of the shipment date.
GLS
- Claims for both lost and damaged shipments must be filed within 60 days of the ship date.
Loomis Express
- Damaged Shipments: Report damages by phone within 48 hours of delivery.
- Lost Shipments: File claims in writing within 180 days (6 months) of the shipment date.
DHL
- File claims within 30 days from the date the shipment was handed over to DHL (pickup date).
