There is more than one reason why you may want to collect a signature at delivery!
While a Signature at delivery does confirm receipt - did you know it could also prevent against package theft & misplacement?
If your shipment is being delivered to a multi-unit building, such as an apartment or office building, adding a signature to your shipment ensures that the package is handed off to the exact party it is intended for, and not left in a community or public access area.
Shipments that are indicated to be "No Signature Required" may be delivered to the front door, public mailbox, or lobby of the specified address and can be left unattended. We highly suggest, especially for high value shipments, that Signature Required be added to the label to ensure the shipment is delivered directly to the correct party.
To add Signature Required to the label, simply check the box beside Signature under the Additional Options, on the "Let's Build Your Shipment" Page. See below for reference:
Once you have selected the Courier Rate you would like to go with you can continue to the "Review & Confirm" page, where you will see a summary of your shipment, including the "Quote Breakdown".

The Label you purchase will now indicate "Signature Required" on it, so that the driver delivering the shipment will be aware to obtain one.
Once the shipment has been delivered successfully, you will be able to visit the "History & Tracking" page, go to the details of the specific shipment, and click the "POD" button. POD stands for, Proof of Delivery. Here you will be able to view the Delivery specifics for this shipment, along with the signature for your reference.
